Save target as...

Yah i tried that but all it's showing is save link as. Then saves an internet short-cut... that's all fine but when I want to watch the video the next day it has to buffer again. Takes a while. I know lightspeed doesnt help either. But it would be nice if I could watch these off the drive.
Thanks

saving putfile videos

if you want to download to your pc.
1. open up page with video
2. go up to "view" at the top of you explore browser
3. go through the page until you se the "http....name of the file.wmv"
4. once you copy and paste that in your browser, your windows media player on you pc will open it up.
5. then you can save on your PC by going to file, save as....

links would look like the one below. these could be posted here but putfile.com wouldn't like it because the would lose visiter to their site.

try these videos, they should open right up in you media player, then save them:

Re: 11-27 couple radar/drag videos & pics

Here's a few videos & pics taken on Sunday 11/27. Few of us took some sleds out in a field. got faster as the day went on. I(my son actually) hit 105 on radar. a tuned up F7 hit 107mpg, a doo Rev800 hit 104, a doo Rev600 hit 102(I think). a new Tony Stuart F-7 hit 102(I think).
Everyone (doo & cat guys) were impressed with the "slow" 4 stroker, they couldn't believe how good it felt & ran.
I am getting a big boy rear spring so I didn't even mess with the transfer or rear spring. the sled did wheelie most of the time when you hit the throttle or it spun more than it should have. messing with it probably helped out a lot.
- My mph's were only about 2-3 mph slower with me on my rtx than with my son on it. he is about 130lbs & I go 300lbs.
- the digital read 118 when the radar said 103.
- my rpm's barely went over 10k, & that was at the end of the day.
- sled started with 19miles on it and we finished with 70miles on it.
- I left skid set at what it came at. 2nd to softest on spring.
- I studded it with 144(a 168 pattern without the outside studs) 1.375 up the middle double & single backers with bith nuts. after more testing I may add the outside studs.

BA, it looks like the RTX in the first two vids was getting no weight transfer, what's that about? It was barely compressed compared to the other sleds. Is this just the nature of this skid, or just due to the skid not being broken in yet? Glad to see these new yammis on the snow, just wish it was me!!

most of the time the front came up, the times I video taped it stayed pretty much down. I never messed with the rear shock settings, I think they were on med to low. my son was dragging in the videos, he is only about 135lbs i think.
If i do any more testing before i get my stiff rear spring, I'll tune the rear to my son for max performance. I ordered the stiff spring today because I believe I will need it.

Ba Apex is that rtx in the picture and your avatar picked?
yes it is. 144 down the center with double & single angled woody backers. using studboy 1.375 studs. similar to the pattern below.

Nice... it's a shame to get rid of it... but #*$&@ happens... hope you get well so you can ride again! Good luck. Don't think you'll have any trouble selling your RTX.

Damn, that learning to fly video was excellent. I think I am going out to my four place enclosed with a beer and sulk since it is raining like crazy here in New England (except far northern ME which is getting buried). That ride was an excellent representation of how we like to ride.

Thanks!!!
