Saturday was the Gogebic radar runs and the 15 put me in the money 2nd in the 1000 cc and up mod class. And had 4th fastest mph of the day. Even running against 300+ hp winders and cats several were 154" track skids slammed to the ground and picked to high heaven running the ice track. I did it with the stock 1.6" cobra 144 studs on the snow track. Qualified for the top gun run finishing 3rd overall. Sure wish the other Viper was done I would have taken top speed easily.
It was bad snow on the track and very loose, hook up was very hard and at 1000 ft was still Gaining speed with skis still 12" off the track. I made 7 passes and all 7 were within .4 of a mph of each other.
Trail rode 300 miles in 2 days and blasted the track 7 times with a gates carbon fiber belt with over 1500 miles on it YAMAHA!!!!!!!!

Is this I know you run the xtx but motor mods and turbo set up? also what kind of mph?

15 xtx stock motor no shim Mpi stage 1 with intercooler and 4th injector 2 gems controllerscontrolle fuel pump. quick spool waste gate and 19 t billet turbo wheel. Evo Flash to pull timing. 11 lbs of boost 50/50 93 and 110 gas. Dyno 265 hp but the trick is it an xtx with hygear linkage to couple rear after it pulls the skis and loads the track.
The speeds were down due to poor bite in the loose snow 117 was top I was 109.8 and needed more track length to really wind it up I laid out 1320 ft 1/4 mile and was flirting with 130 on hard packed snow on gogebic Friday.
2 runs I stayed in it after the finish line and gps got to 126 before I had to shut down.
But everyone had to run the same track ice/snow your choice so it helped me most big hp winders 137" LTX could not hook up at all.
