Lots of old logging roads and trails in the woods. Just need to know where to go and stay off main snowmobile trails

In Michigan any trail crossing on private property is closed 4/1, however state/forest land is always open (snowmobile trail/two tracks) when there is more than 4" of snow. The problem is no grooming going on and in some areas the snow is so deep (3' in da UP) you may need a looong track to get through it.

This whole thing is some kind of sick joke. With the only outcome for most, being insanity.....
