No, 2 new yamaha belts and new bolts installed for belt deflection.Did you change belt brands?
2-300 rpm is never gained back even on a really long run like 1-2mi? If answer is no then check valve clearance.

We haven't checked valve clearance but do not think it is a valve issue, sled starts and runs flawless until the very top end. Cold starts/hot starts no issue, just does not pull on top end like they used to! It has us stumped, seems like an issue that a few people have and no one has been able to find the fix for.

Has anyone replaced the throttle cable and fixed this issue? Just thinking out loud here now...
How about bushing in sliding sheave of primary clutch? Only thing that hasn't been changed in primary.
