Thunder Products (Big Venom Viper kit) with Heavy Hitters

Not with these weights Cannondale, these Heavy Hitter weights seem to have more oomph on bottom and mid range when heavier in the tip. Belt slipping? Probably as I noticed the belt temps were higher.
No belt slipping on mine. Dead nuts consistant every time within 5 rpm. Mine also spins the track when stuck in snow. 9025 for Straightline header and 9100 for EVO.

just ordered a 48/40 helix for my viper ltx se .what is a good weight setup for 500 ft snow drags .i set mine up the way lonn does and it hits rev limiter on take off .right now it pulls good but i hate the hitting rev limiter .looking for a good drag race setup .thanks for any advice.also my setup is k&n filters with a fuel programmer and the venom kit.

The 48 will help with the rev limiter on take off. The 40 finish angle will keep your revs up more so you can add weight to the tip. 500 feet.....try this

1 inch screws in th heel (1/4 buried and 3/4 right behind)
middle - nothing
tip - 3/8 steel bolt with thick washer if running 8DN (if running the Gates belt put the aluminum 3/8 with 1 thin washer in the tip)

I've got the evo stage 4, can and airbox mod.

I have one aluminum in the tip running about 9400+-.

How much more weight wood I add to bring it under 9000. I'll give it a try this week.
So, are you running the stage 4 with the stock header.

Trail conditions were awesome yesterday, hit 108 with the Big venom clutch kit, and no my sled is not turboed!!

whats your weight setup and mods to sled murdered137
15' ltx dx, ulmers intake (3k&N filters), sandales can, gate's carbon fiber belt, bv clutch kit, 6-1,1" in heel, aluminum with thin washer middle, and 3/8 steel with thick washer in tip, was getting 98 consistently, took a long straight away to get the 108 .

I tried putting the 3/8 steel and thick washer in the tip but I couldn't get it tight since there wasn't enough threads on the bolt with the thick washer.

Ya, there isn't much thread , I dipped mine in blue locktite and snugged er up, did over 400 mile's this weekend, everything is fine, try 2 thin washer's if you're worried, should be very close.

Good number murdered137. At what rpm did you run it? Is the Gates 8dn length ?

Yes , 8 dn lenght, it keeps me off the rev limiter and keeps rpm 200-300 lower, which makes it pull harder Imo.
