Just looking at your header you got back and still not enough clearance between header and valve cover. But it was sent back for hitting aluminum shield correct? Also looks like you have the new version header. Not sure how they are going to fix header problem. Bruce

The Evo likes to rev thats for sure. Will it get the speeds I got with straightline/Ulmer? About to find out. Off to the river I go! Now I am having fun!

First of all I would like to thank Studroes for turning me on to the Magna force wieghts. Nothing wrong with others but clutch tuning and alot of it in the dark is just not doable with anything other than Magnetic weights! I believe I thoroughly tested both pipes. In my opinion speeds should have picked up at night. I ran the EVO clutched at 8850,9155 and 9228. Best I got was 103@9155 and believe me I tried. Hard on brakes and thank God for studs at end of run. I used flashlight to see braking points and I used every bit of that stretch. The Evo did not accelerate as fast as the Ulmer. Much easier and safer to get the 106 with Ulmer/Straightline. Downloading vids now. Here is the best run. Notice that speedo actually flashed 105. GPS is what I go by. A flash is only for Boobs! 102 mph@9155 is best I could get.

Thats what I do. YouTube it. 8dn length might give you a hair more. Its way easier to get on and off also! Nope testing OSP weights tomorrow and have some ideas to try soon. I ride to river and on river. Burned a good 3/4 tank this weekend so I am riding!Dam I was hoping nobody would see that green tag. It was given to me I would never buy that. !!! SnoNinja ran 106 with just a can and big venom clutch kit on plowed road with a 1.6 track, are any of these other mods really paying off?.First of all I would like to thank Studroes for turning me on to the Magna force wieghts. What gearing are you running? I saw you posted before that you had 1.80 did you run this gearing today? Also are you running the yamaha 8DN or a different brand belt?

Well maybe the road was faster. Did he go off speedo or GPS? GPS makes you hold it. I only have header,Can,Tuner,Gearing and Excell Airbox. What I feel the mods do is allow consistency. I did 105 all stock just once and only for an instant. The 106 on that stretch I could do all day long. Same with the 102 with EVO. All day long. Will not do that stock.SnoNinja ran 106 with just a can and big venom clutch kit on plowed road with a 1.6 track, are any of these other mods really paying off?.
