Good find's, I ran 107 on a stretch of road towards Shingleton on trail 41,then couldn't go past 82 south of Munising on trail 7, it would be nice to know to get that speed whenever you want to.Well maybe the road was faster. Did he go off speedo or GPS? GPS makes you hold it. I only have header,Can,Tuner,Gearing and Excell Airbox. What I feel the mods do is allow consistency. I did 105 all stock just once and only for an instant. The 106 on that stretch I could do all day long. Same with the 102 with EVO. All day long. Will not do that stock.
Posted the video a few posts up.
Yes was sent back for burning holes in shield. Originally had accordion style flex joint on headeroutlet pipe and was nowhere near the valvecover. Will inspect tomorrow when I take the Evo header off. Not sure what they are going to do.Just looking at your header you got back and still not enough clearance between header and valve cover. But it was sent back for hitting aluminum shield correct? Also looks like you have the new version header. Not sure how they are going to fix header problem. Bruce

I am trying the gates 40C4340 gates belt this week plus can, intake and PCV with ignition module and gearing change. Snow conditions in Munising are very bad today, the snow looks like sugar so RPM is down and really didn't get a long run. Will compare the 2 belts this week. From what I could tell the gates belt has a lot more grip and will be down the RPM'S but I need better conditions to confirm. Going to run the yamaha 8DN tomorrow
Thats the goal murdered! Right now when asked my sled is a true 95mph sled in anything less than 10 inches of snow. Only thing I would put $ on.Good find's, I ran 107 on a stretch of road towards Shingleton on trail 41,then couldn't go past 82 south of Munising on trail 7, it would be nice to know to get that speed whenever you want to.

I only saw 84 on trail 8 in Munising today!
Clutch for the belt. Will not gain speed unless previous belt is slipping and you can pull the most weight possible. Thats why we all want more power!I am trying the gates 40C4340 gates belt this week plus can, intake and PCV with ignition module and gearing change. I would be more than satisfied if I could get 95 consistently.Thats the goal murdered! Right now when asked my sled is a true 95mph sled in anything less than 10 inches of snow. Only thing I would put $ on.

Yes we need more power! I have the super tip weight's and since i added the ign module I took all the weight out of the tip. At the end of last season I was hitting the rev limiter, but my 8DN belt had 3000mi today with the gates belt i only saw maybe 8700 ,but conditions where very poor, but I think if I keep using the gates belt i might need to change the gearing to get the RPM back up
Its never enough. You know that!
If you had to take weight out of tip you lost power with the ignition module or conditions were bad! When you remove weight to keep same RPMs you lose speed. Thats a fact. No way around it.Yes we need more power! I have the super tip weight's and since i added the ign module I took all the weight out of the tip. That was on speedo, but held there. I saw 107 but it don't hold 107, only held the 105 on the speedo for a few hundred feet before I lifted. Road was very thin on snow, and was using the gravel shoulder for traction. For a stock sled you do need proper conditions to get into the triple digits consistently. Anything hardpack and smooth and I can get there, but add more than a few inches of snow and it kills top speed. Today running the lake home I was 82 on 5" of snow over slush. Get on a sled track, and right up there at triple digits.Well maybe the road was faster. Did he go off speedo or GPS? GPS makes you hold it. I only have header,Can,Tuner,Gearing and Excell Airbox. Power is the key if you want top end. I am only looking to get the most out of my clutching with basically stock power (aside from the cool sounding can).
Glad to see your hard work paying off Cannondale

What's that digital dial off to the right? Blinking 1-2-3 or whatever.Letting Ulmer Straightline header cool off and putting Evo on. With no changes other than limiter strap I got 105 GPS and about that speedo. Kept adding weight to primary got revs down to 8800 and lost speed. 9025 is sweet spot with my setup. 106GPS . Getting there!

I am getting easily 114 on short runs (not long WOT) out of mine at 8450 rpm on snow now at 7#'s of boost and it is clutched for 10.5#'s so hoping 123 on snow and 128 on ice wen I flip the switch.
