Track threw a stud yesterday during a high speed rip down the trail yesterday now it has a hole in the front heat ex changer, can the exchanger be pulled out without a major disassemble job .Have a friend that is an experienced aluminum welder ,but not sure if it can be done in the sled. Also thoughts of trying jb weld .Any advice appreciated ,I see other pictures of the same results but no stories of fixes .

Very big job to pull it out you need to weld it in the sled and replace your track if you have a pull through

I have used JB weld after extreme clean and gave it some teeth with wire brush. This saved a trip and has lasted for years

Saved big $ and time

Big job to remove.

Can be welded in place usually. Remove antifreeze first.

J B Weld works. Needs to be really cleaned well first.

Proper weld job is the best long term fix IMHO.

Proper weld job in place is certainly the way to go if you know some one with these skills
