Trouble shoot help

I have a friend who has a 2019 xtx and when gas is at about 1/4 of a tank or less, going down hill and applying the brake, the engine cuts out and stalls or pops really bad. It started doing this the middle of last year and again this year the last two rides. There are two other sidewinders in our group and they do not have this issue. Thoughts, suggestions, known fix ?

Could be water in the gas or for some reason its too low and loosing fuel pressure.

I replaced my fuel pump and after 500 miles this year it has never done it once.. I run the TD fuel pump..

IMO some pumps are weak. I ran milder tunes for 10k. If your tuned at all the stock pumps is suspect at best IMO.

did you reroute the return line with the TD pump or just bolt it in and go?

Two of us have run MAX spool 16sm no issues yet. The one with the issue is bone stock

I did a reroute first. STILL DID IT. I have a link above to a thread I started last season about this.
