Thanks for that info. Just trying to stay informed concerning TD tunes, but Wow they have really kicked it up a notch with the tune choices for sm. Kinda why I have a smm. I had to get a smm years ago to run any of their tunes.
My smm was OKd to run with TD’s Max Spool 16 when I got it 2 seasons ago, because of the 2” inlet not letting the muffler breath much extra! Great tune that Max Spool 16 3 bar with BOV.
yes for sure they have all come a long ways. I am super happy with max 16 and I have no interest in changing muffler so its perfect. Game wardens are getting strict so not worth the risk Imo. I just ride trails and dont lake race so plenty of power. Not long ago all they had for stock muffler was 230hp eco trail. I originally started with that tune and it pulled well but this max16 runs better and is silky smooth and responsive and strong. Hope this power plant sticks around a while.

Just what I wanted to hear. I actually tried another Winder with MS 16 sm 3 bar and it had quite a bit more snot than my Powertrail. My doo buddy is going to put a 220 riot kit on his 900T next year so I want to make sure I can easily put him away like I did with his 205 kit this year.yes for sure they have all come a long ways. On snowy conditions it is a lot. Get it on fast icy or really hard packed trails and it is a handful, that I promise.

I was faced with a similar decision. I almost went with PT SM, but I ended up going with MS16 for the stock map sensor. I just got back from my first 50 miles on this tune. WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER?

Stock yamaha clutches, 35 helix with yellow spring at 3-3 and dalton qay66 weights up front loaded to 69.8 grams. Good clutch/belt temps and zero belt issues anymore. Keep in mind Im running 24-50 gears and 146/1.75 track so clutch setups may vary slightly with different gearing and tracks. Havent smiled so much riding sled in years.Any clutch upgrades?

I said the same thing when I tuned mine! I waited 2 years for warranty purposes and also my wife saying,”Why do you need to spend over $1000 dollars on your fast sled to make it faster “? She wanted to go to Nashville with a friend so we traded! LolI was faced with a similar decision. I almost went with PT SM, but I ended up going with MS16 for the stock map sensor.
