My wifes Phazer seems to collect snow on the seat/running boards, I think the track is throwing snow back. If I cover the area in the pic, will it solve this problem? Does anyone make a aftermarket kit?

I put one on my PhazerMTN.

They work and are worth it.

You can pay $60 for one and some rivets from a retailer
or
pay $8-12 at your local machine shop for the same thing.(without pretty louvers)

I have a set of Yamaha side panels, brand new in package. They sell for over $90. I will sell them here for $40. shipping will be $6.00. I will have to find them, I moved from Ilinois to the UP of Mich and they are in a storage unit, although I believe I know where in the unit they are

You should also close of the triangle in the rear. I did and I don't get any snow build up on the foot rails.

thats's why they are not on my sled, Yamaha gave them to me when I complained about the ice probleml. I covered the hole in tunnel and people told me the covers would help a bit, but I wanted a permanate fix, not a friggin little help, here is my fix for the ice, see the mallet in the pic.

closing off the tri angle helped in your pacticular application. I live in the UP of Michigan and we have had 200" of snow so far this season. I boondock in the powder and the foot rails scoop up snow with every carv. That snow gets compacted under foot and freezes no matter how much I kick at it and try an keep up with it. I just bought some footboard heatexchangers and am going to fabricate them to fix and than plumb them in, I will also cover the rear tri-angle just as you guys are doing. Thanks for all the info bro's! This site is a valuable resource

This works great for me

I did it myself. i have mounted a tub to let the exhuast out on the side after the picture was taken

This is what I meant behind the reflector, the tunnel/bumper support. I filled it in with sheet aluminum.
