It greatly depends on where and how you ride. Our Turbo Vipers will use a tank of gas in about 40-50 miles playing off trail. Now on trail and driving moderately they actually get pretty good gas mileage. I'm sure the Sidewinder will be similar.

It is all about the throttle, my 14 XTX when it was only at 6 #'s of boost could not make 83 miles to the tank full. Later at higher boost of 13 because I was in and out of it more I was getting closer to 10 mpg.

Hey guys what do you think this thing will be capable of for fuel mileage? I guess it has the same 37L tank as the viper. I was just curious how many km/miles the guys with turbos were getting out of a tank. I was talking with a guy at one of the shows and he said this sled will be way worse on fuel then my viper. It has me a little concerned since some of my riding is on some fast groomed trails where there it's like a 180km ride to the next gas station.
You can bank on 14 mpg running average, 12 ish mpg running hard and 16+ cruising.
My mcx turbo nytro with Ulmer clutch kit got better mileage than non turbo vipers, apex and Polaris switchback 800. They all used 1-2 gallons more per fill up. Got a sidewinder on the way.

All depends on the flipper. Hard on and off the throttle your going to burn more fuel. Example hard run on high speed hard packed trails but easy on the throttle on and off 120 miles with maybe a gallon left. Next day warmer bit softer snow hard on the throttle on and off bit of playing (not much off trail) and 100 miles with fumes left. You want mileage you ride accordingly you want to impress with the throttle you fill up sooner. Turbo Viper was close to the same fuel on my 7 day ride this winter. 1200 Doos burnt much less and have bigger tanks. They will go 130 miles and still have a quarter tank left.
