2014 Yamaha Viper LTX SE Hurricane 190hp Turbo.
I have a hurricane 190 turbo on a 2014 viper, the first week we got snow the kit was running excellent 5.5-5.8# on a very very short field and 10.5 ish on afr. Ok so hears my problem this past week the lake finally froze and some trails opened and I am only seeing 4-4.5# on a long or short stretch with really crappy mpg (10 ish). I have the 2014 crappy header so I thought my header cracked so I checked that and no cracks. Then I checked my copper gasket, my dealer was in there to replace my starter and I found out they did not reseal it. So I resealed that yesterday and let it dry for a day and took it out this morning. This morning I got about the same thing 4.5-4.9#. This is just frustrating me because I could just blip the throttle the first week I had it and could get 5.5# easily. I am also using Innovate afr and boost gauges.

I am very new to boost and I already never want to go back to stock. Since i am so new is this normal? The temps yesterday were 10 F +windchill today is 20 F+windchill. The first week it was running it was 25+ degrees

You probably have a boost leak my friend. Check all you throttle body boots and turbo boot, remember the throttle bodies have a very short flange with which to clamp too. Also check your BOV boot.

sounds like a cracked header. mine did the same. hard to see cracks right next to the welds.

This was my header where everyone else's seems to crack. I searched around it to find one but never could. Then I ran my hand around the whole thing to see if there was any black anywhere and there wasn't.

I will look over my my intake boots again but they were all ok when i checked my header yesterday.

Your boost can fluctuate from day to day and from one area to another. I can ride 30 miles north to my cottage and my boost is always 1 lb lower. Also I can ride east 100 miles to a certain location and my boost will go up 2 lbs. I installed a turbo smart T to control my boost
