TY Rides 2011 -2012!!

I am working on making some changes this year to the ride locations. I still want to do the Houghton Ride in Dec, and the Give Away Ride in beginning of Feb...I am wondering what all of you think of riding out of Gwinn and Ishpeming MI??

Working on a TY Reunion Ride that would have Key Riders from some of our 1st rides... it would be really cool for everyone to meet some of the originators.

Still want to do a St Croix Ride as well as a Minnesota Ride.

If time permits, I will also be attempting a out west ride this year.

I'm going to try and make the December Houghton ride. What are the dates of that, Tom?

Also, I'd for sure be in for a MN TY ride. Last year we had an unofficial ride of mostly TY guys up in Chishom, guided by the venerable TheGrizzlyOne. Was a lot of fun. Lot's of 2 stroke side guys showed up also.

But if you know the dates of the planned December Houghton TY ride please post them!

Every year I say this, but something comes up... I do want to do a MI ride, but would need to know the dates. Ishpeming would be cool. I've riden there before... I don't remember much, though I was only 8.

I would love to do a Ispheming ride.
Unfortunatley the early Houghton ride never works out for me.Maybe some year.It get really nice up that way after december.

I am up for the "out west ride" if you are still planning on riding the Snowy's (we are expecting kid #2 on Feb 6th so if you do it ~then I would not make it).

Last season the Houghton/Hancock Ride was December 17th,18th & 19th.
I was there, we had a great time.

Yea, we where just waiting for the other TY rides dates to be posted so we can figure out when to do it for those who want to go to both.

Tell me about it..... I snowchecked a new sled this year too. I have lots of volunteers from my riding group to ride my sled why I am 'out'!

Excited to add another future sledder though to the group!

I would be up for Gwinn or Ispheming. I would think Ispheming would be better for places to stay and such, Gwinn is to small of a town i think

Is the Manitoba ride dead now? I recall crossing paths with the TY ride years ago when I was still on a doo. (At the half way hut I believe it was.) One of the guys even let me take his Apex for a ride.

I might be able to make it down to the MN ride if the dates work out.
