Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Well finally got a chance to take sled out on 270 tune with dtay1 empty and and secondary blck/orange wrapped 6-3. On 1200 ft pull getting about 8400 rpm. Is there any thing besides buying qay 70s dalton's that would raise my rpm up dont really want to spend another $200 for cam weight

I believe it was me who told you to buy the QAY 70’s from the start. I remember saying to you that those Dtay weights were gonna be too heavy even empty.

You're gonna have to buy the Qay 70’s.

You have a gram scale?
Just grind the sides down evenly all the way from top to bottom.

Were conditions good? I'm not familiar with your sled, do you have a straight 35 or a 35/39? A primary spring with a higher finish rate would gain you some rpms. You can always grind some weight off the inside tip of your dtya1s.

Weight heavy snow on seasonal road and its straight 35 helix

Give that belt some time to break in...I found after about 80-100 miles the belt starts to settle in and gets better. Give it some more time and see if R’s increase.

You really need a surface grinder to do that. You can also just grind the backside of the weight. I like to run a pin through all three weights, even them up and clamp in a vice and grind with a coarse flap wheel.
:drink:
Fine tune each with your scale and done.

That would be best. But I've done many. I just take my time and do it carefully.
