viper diet....

honestly I am not really sure what I am gonna see, more than what I had? I know bad answer but I would like to see 160-165? I didn't up the compression on this motor, just the displacement. "there is no replacement for displacement" I expect that the bottom end and mid will see huge gains and not much on the top end since the machine will be geared and clutch for the hills.

A little bit more done, not getting as much time as I need here but it should be ready for the weekend, also kinda dogging it a bit hoping that the Ulmer K&N filter kit will be here soon.... It is in Canada but that is were Canada post stops tracking things! Once it clears Canadian customs the tracking stops and the next post will be when it comes to my door :o|
started in to the exhaust, had to hammer a few spots that were rubbing and I cut down the little rubber block just a bit to help with clearance.
Fired back into the main wire harness and the PCV / auto tuner. Hoping to hear noise today.

SHE IS ALL BACK TOGETHER!
wow does it pull and pull hard. I am hitting my rev limiter right from a start and then it will settle down to 9100 and slowly pull back up
current clutching
8bu weight empty
primary spring y/s/y
rollers: 14.5
secondary spring white white @ 90 degrees
39 degree helix
after a short 5-10 min run the clutches were warm to the touch, almost hot. plan A, install a 3.6g weight in the heel of each weight to bring the rpm down. If need be add a second aluminum weight in the tip. .85g
If after the first ride my clutches are too hot or I blow a brand new belt I will be adding the three 1mm spacers on the back of the secondary and running an 8DN belt to see the changes.

Hammer Time!!

Awesome build and thread.

Good Luck!

Awesome great to here u are out riding , when can u start building mine. Lol. That is one sweet sled.

just finished putting the rivets in the 8BU weights, I didn't have 3.6 rivets so I went with 3.1 in the heel and nothing in the tip yet.
Found a good home for the PCV and auto tune system, still need to clean up the wiring and make it a little easier to get the hood on and off but like always a work in progress

took the girl for a ride again and damn the machine is so snappy that it is not even able to ride on a trail.
I had to change the engagement some how!
plan A: changed the spring to blue/silver/blue
result hard hitting to 8800 but back shifts to 8400

plan b: change the helix to a 41 degree from 39. I gave mine away :o|

plan c: changed the spring to a yellow/ pink/ yellow
gonna go test

YELLOW/ PINK / YELLOW this thing works awesome!

from a dead stop 89-9000 rpm and back shifts to 86-8700 and pulls hard
I really wish you guys could try this machine, it is something that i just cant explain how happy I am with it.

Hurricane Dave Thank you for all the advice with this kit!
PCV and auto tuner are dialed in and now just the intake kit from ULMER racing next week.

SO GUYS were do I go from here??

Well found some good snow  Machine was a beast and no complaints at all! A few small thing yet to do suspension wise.
Sorry guys no vid this trip
Had a crash and have a full calf hemotoma not good
Got donkey kicked when snow snow gave out the back end went way up in the air and the skis went down I bailed off but not before the skis dug through the snow crust and slammed the machine down on my calf. Seven files of blood pulled out of the swelling and ten min of shooting blood and running blood from the draining needle. No walking for two weeks no work for at least one and maybe surgery if the swelling doesn't go down soon. I will post some Picts when the blood stops weeping out of the catheter in my lower calf :o|
