viper diet....

with the new xxxvents riveted in the panels the black clip doesn't push through the panel sop the clip can hook in..... so cut the stock one up for measurements and make it out of aluminum .

spaced with O-rings to allow me to crush or expand the nipple end for length on the screw

finished product!

Was that a lightweight BDX Proclimb driveshaft in the picture? What's the weight with drivers? I cant see it on my iphone.

I was wondering if all the cat/Yami drivetrain would be interchangeable. Do you know if the Viper and Proclimb share the same top gear?

Thanks.

You need to upgrade your photobucket account, I had to last year, it's $30.

The driveshaft is all Yamaha I only put on the brake rotor
few pictures for thought!

what is the next step........ out with the old and in with the new.... more picts to come

sorry guys looks like I have hit my free bandwidth limit with photo bucket I will have to find a new way to load the pictures.... ps they are all on my phone

The XF7000 and Viper use the same interchangable chain case componets, however I believe that gear ratios are different.
The Proclimbs use different chains and gears then the XF7000/Viper, because of the floating jack shaft, auto-tensioner and TCL.

What I'm really wondering is if a Proclimb top gear will also fit the Viper jack shaft. I wanted to put together a C3 belt drive with the PC driveshaft and Viper jack shaft to retain the Yamaha clutch but it's all dependent on the cat and viper splines being the same.

My dealer was pretty sure the gears would not interchange.

I think the gears are the same between cat and Yamaha , just the clutch side changed. I don't see why it would not work

They do fit on the splines

Thanks for the info guys! And sorry for derailing your thread Yukon Yamaha. Good job on the weight loss, I'm keeping a close eye on this build.

updated my photo account and the pictures are back!!
installed the new exhaust last night and wow! simple 1.5 hours start to finish.... 2 hours with a beer break.
The install was a snap, putting the exhaust on took the same amount of time to take the plastics on and off.
AGAIN LEE CAME THROUGH WITH ANOTHER KILLER EXHAUST! :bling

This system saves weight and sounds amazing, not too loud but has some bark to it at higher rpm. Not sure how many rpm I have gained since install still need to go for a rip bud.

also got the top oil line wrapped red (sorry the pict is blurry)

Why did you leave the stock tunnel protectors in? A pound or so to be lost there. With a big track and no studs it's not really needed.

What is going on that I do not see any pics?
:worth:

picts should be back up sorry guys!
I have a habit of rolling my sled to get it unstuck and the tunnel protectors offer some strength for the rear part of the tunnel
