Ya I know it really doesn't tell ya one way or another but then after you check out and pay them it will say there on back order. Don't feel bad it is not just the snowmachine division I waited 2 months this summer for a part for my YXZ.

Revisiting this stubshaft/gear slipping that some seem to have.
Can that gear be removed and pressed back into the correct positon?

Yes, and I recommend loctite or a little weld.

I had a hard starter here last year and the signal ring wasn't aligned and the exhaust valves were tight as well. Intakes were good.
Started good after.
I have two more just arrived that are hard starters also. Have yet to get at them, but will post what I find.
