Just a guess here. Not knowing all of the details of when we get a light, when we get a code, and when it shuts itself down I'd disconnect the battery on the chance that the ecu shut it down or thinks it shut it down and for some reason isn't letting back on. Good luck, I hate no start, what do I do situations.

Well disconnected the battery for a bit and it started but just runs like a piece of crap will hardly idle then give it gas and it keeps stalling.what next to try?
And why was it overheating or maybe it really wasnt?

How many km's on it? Hope it isn't the start of a valve clearance issue.

Great to hear! This is the kind of customer service I've had from Yamaha since 1979.
