I think BRP caught their mistake. The price is back to where it should be. Dont know if they shipped out any before they caught it. That would be some Christmas present

Also had an HJC Modular that leaked alot of cold air.
Not a bad helmet, just wasn't very warm & the latch would occasionally kinda "lock up", gave you that "trapped" feeling.
Was creepy...
Tried a GMAX Modular with heated Visor last year that ended up working great!
Is Very Warm when you want warm, & relatively quiet.
Vents work very well when you need them
The Tinted Visor works well & is really cool looking during the day!
Also had a side benefit I never expected.
It is actually quite a bit more aerodynamic when riding at speed.
Put alot less force on my neck!

I have both a GMAX 44 and a Modular 2. Both work well, the GMAX runs a litttle bigger, maybe a full size, and is easier to use, the breathe deflecor is attached and flips up. The BRP is better padded, and somewhat warmer, but the breathe cup is a little awkward. . GMAX now has a 45s, supposed to have improvemetns in the way it flips up giving more room. Chek ebay, Smith's for the best price I've seen on the 45s..
I havent used my helmet yet but am feeling better about the purchase seeing all the reviews on my Gmax, mine is a 54s max series.

didnt like the price on the doo or the replacement shield. $200 for a shield replacement? i dont think so.
bought the hjc clmax 2 which is very similar to the doo.(sun shade and all that crap) anyhow, with elec shield sent to my house it was like $214. new shields r $80. nice helmet, just wish it had the snap connect instead of d rings.
