Will be sure to keep an eye on mine this winter. Jeez...you would think stuff like this would be caught during the years of testing and that they would have come up with something that wouldn't loosen like this. Grrrr.

Should be able to see these bolts even with the exhaust and guard on....as seen in the pic.Is this bolt accessible without pulling muffler?

Best bet is to probably make a long pull with it then pull over and snug them up when it's hot. Shouldn't loosen up then.

Just checked mine. One was out and the other was loose. Around 20 miles on sled. If you haven't checked these. Do so.

What size nordlock do we need to fit the bolt? And what size wrench fits the heads is there something in the tool kit that you can get on them with or should I add a tool to it?

I would still retorque after getting it hot though.
I build road race cars and rally cars for a living, we use nordlocks religiously on all exhaust manifolds, turbos, or anything that sees, high stress and or high heat loads. We never have any issues with hardware loosening up. Just remember if you are doing a through bolt application, you need one on each side.

Three bolts , mine had one outer loose and the backside one laying in the belly pan under muffler , its a real pain to get back in .

This is something to check on all for sure. After reading this post I checked mine with 0 miles on it and they were far from tight.
Great info on this site.
Thanks.
