MT RX1 Mountain Man

We use both the Togwotee gloves (for really cold) and the Powercross gloves for less extreme temps. I wear the Powercross gloves almost all the time on my Apex mtn. with next to no windshield and have only worn the Togwotee's a couple of times but my wife uses the bigger gloves probably 70% of the time and the Powercross' the rest of the time. Go to SnoWest and look up "culater" or contact Len direct at allyndalecycles@msn.com he has the best prices I have found anywhere on Klim gear...oh and tell him RX1MountainMan sent ya'! LOL!!!

I use the Klim Togwotees and they do great job keeping my hands warm. G.B.

...might be in the minority, but I like Mountaineering gloves / mitts for sledding... Mountain Hardware Absolute Zero Mitts are A-OK... & liked older Black Diamond Stratos gloves...
most any hi expedition grade gloves & clothing are more than adaptable for riding.

I use choko handlebar muffs and only one craftsman mechanics glove on the right hand. I wouldn't wear any gloves but the back side of my thumb gets cold being out on the throttle. My hand warmers are almost turned off and I never have a problem. This is on an srx with the stock windshield (low sticker holder) at all temps incl. -20+. I have tried all kinds of gloves but nomatter what my hands would always end up cold. The muffs took care of all that. Don't forget to put a set of real gloves in your seat for when your off the sled.

I have been using Cabela's Pinnacle gloves for 5-6 years now, and they are great. Warm and hold up excellent....I am still using my original pair.

I also hear really great things about the True North Adventure Gear.

Of course I live in the Western Rocky mountains and may not be out riding in -20deg. (or colder) tempuratures. If you do.....those heated ones look nice and comfy!
