I just installed my newly powder coated Yamaha blue Grizz reinforced subframe tonight. What a pain in the arse that was. I had to hoist the sled completely in the air on a chain block in order to get the job done. I have a box full of bolts and nuts that I really hope I remember where everything goes.

Next job is to install the oilite bushings into the newly powder coated a-arms and then get the arms installed. Then it's time to wait for the OFT steering relocator to get here. It's snowing pretty good outside and my garage is freezing to work in. Oh yeah, I just picked up two MBRP slip on pipes. I can't wait to try it. One will be for sale.

OK so over the past month or so......

New used clutch, rear shock, rt. bulkhead, W-Arm repair and pioneer bushing kit on the wifes (13,500 mile) 05 Rage.

Installed a Tracks USA 136/Cobra kit on my new to me 2010 RTX SE.
Ordered a mountaintech Ind. full skid plate.

Pulled the (13,700 mile) '02 Viper into the garage last night to tighten up the front end and general once over.

Will check out the (15,000 mile) '08 Vector to see if the overnight charge revived the battery.

Fired the sled up for the first time of the year! Surprisingly ran great! Running it dry and draining the carbs worked for one year haha

Got all the front end bushings changed and a new primary spring installed. Thanks Ulmer!! And my OFT steering relocator just showed up! Thanks Rick and all the guys at OFT!

Last Two Days

Well yesterday and today have been spent on nothing but the nytro and my brothers fusion. For the Fusion we added HID so he could see as well as I can on my Nytro with the HID's. For the Nytro I have been ordering parts because I can't stop thinking about the next big trip. So we installed the stage 2 Schmidt Brother's cluth kit. Pretty easy once I got past the nerves. Engagement around 2400 rmp. So nice to move around the shop. Then we started on the Skinz seat. Did the tunnel block off plate that came with it. Nice fit on that part. While we had everthing off I removed the tunnel protectors and put new plugs in. Finished up the seat kit pretty nice. I just hope it breaks in a little bit. A little stiff but love the new height and look. We were in the process of putting the new Mountain Skid plate in when i decided it was time to figure out how bad my subframe was bent or why my ski's no longer lined up. So instead of installing we pulled off most of my front end and found that it's a royal pain to remove the a-ams. Once removed I found that my bolts are bent pretty bad and I hope thats it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I had a level out and could not find anything else to far out of line but who konws. Finally we decided to call it a day and closed up the shop!!

Well I started polishing.......Enought said........... :o| Hope it is worth it when done.

Rode it!!

Decent day on our local rivers (section of the Alaska Iron Dog race runs through here). Definately need more snow as you can see by the large jumble ice in the second photo and there's still a bit of open water. All in all not a bad early season ride put on about 80 miles and pulled 118 on dremo ;)! .

Last photo are of some tour paddlewheel boats frozen in for the year.
