What Did You Do To Your Sled Today???

Got my shocks back of HyGear and reinstalled them in skid and front end just need to locktite bolts and torque them up and reinstall skid then Nytro should be ready to ride.

As I posted on Facebook today:

So the cool part about pressure washing the sled trailer is that it made it ultra clean and white

Either by washing or by covering it in a thick layer of snow! A Pressure washer at this temp is your own SNOW GUN!!!!!

Damn my trailer looks good though!

I did fire up the Phazer and the Apex though. 2 seconds of cranking and that amazing 4-stroke sound blew out of both of them! I love that sound this time of year!!

Changed my drive shaft (aka speedo) bearing in the Attak.

put oilite bushings in my Vector, man I hate the guys that designed this chassis! Yamaha should fire them and hire them back to work on the damn things.

Put sled back together, Just waiting for the mountain skis to come, but had to take it for a pull around the property.

Summer projects;
Oilite bushings
Re-powder coat a arms and bumpers
Black out the rear suspension
Exhaust turn out
Change plugs back to the 10ek

What a difference the black rails make, that looks nice. I guess you powder coated them ?

Today

Wanted to do the tunnel too, but maybe I am just lazy because that is a lot of things to taking the tunnel apart to prep for the black powder coating. Oh well maybe a tunnel wrap is in the future for my sled.

Last week I dropped my fathers cat off at the dealer, today I got my phazer going.

I need a new starter relay but as soon as I got it to turn over it roared to life in 2 secconds. Not bad for sitting all summer long!

Frost starting to appear, trail work starting to take shape. Its getting close!

Threw in the 13mm swaybar added some chrome and billet, rigged up mirrors inside the windsheild, blacked out the windsheild, added some hygear dual valve canistors to the front floats, polished the tunnel, added hi output bulbs,...not all today but close!

Installed a set of dupont sliders, did my first oil change, and changed the chaincase oil, fired it up a few times

I like the black rails and spindles. X2 on the black tunnel. That XTX would look sick! G.B.

New powder coating on A-Arms
Skinz float plate
Ulmer Oil lite A-Arm bushing kit
Ulmer clutch kit
Excell wheels in skid
Yamaha low snow wheel kit
Paint touch up on skid arms
Hygear torsion spring spacers
New hyfax
Re-worked stock ski rubber for use with Pilot 5.7 skis
New carbides
Oil change and KN filter

Read for snow

Looked at the trailer and prayed for snow. Still have to put the rack and the engine heater on the New sled.

Got rid of my Fox floats in the front and replaced them with GYT dual clickers.
