Moose... been there done that. I bought an Apex that had a boogered arm and spindle.
Bolt was bent, but I could get it beat out with a maul and punch. New bolt, nut, used spindle, used arm, and all was good.
Oillite bushings are always a treat too. Tolerances are very tight, which is good, but be careful to not break/crack the bushings on install. The flanges snap easy. (Speaking from experience here)

Helped a co worker/friend do bushings and sync carbs on his Rage this past week.
Yes, running boards packed with "borrowed" snow from the neighbors yard to keep the engine cool while syncing the carbs. I tried returning the snow to them, but it seemed to be difficult to scoop back up in liquid form. Hahahaha....

Studded track yesterday, today put on new stryke skis with snowtrackers and put new bushings and spring in primary. Re-riveted snow flap too, just because my buddy said it was loose.

on my sleds i check that lower bolt every year as i have bent them before and it was a bugger to get them out when bent. i like launching from the top of the rollers on the trail.
moved the ski on one while fixing the heater in garage. was waiting on my bruised hip to feel better before i started working on one again.

Your A arms dont look too bad. I would have them sandblasted and powder coated once you get them off the machine? GBThread Revival!
So I wanted to replace the worn plastic bushings in my suspension with Oilites. Didn't go well. The bolts for the lower A-arms were rust welded onto the steel bushings inside the spindles. One I was able to get out using a C-clamp, impact and air hammer. The other is still stuck and is bent. I'm gonna have to cut the bolt on each side of the spindle. Already ordered new Bolts, nuts and bushings.
And looking at my A-arms, they're kinda rusty. I may get them powder coated.

Yep, finally cut off the offending bolt and took them and the rear bumper to have them powder coated the same candy apple red as the sled. I did the same thing with my MP years ago in Yamaha metallic blue and it looked great. Cost about $350 (just $50 more than 10 years ago?). Here's the whole lot:Your A arms dont look too bad. Should have them back next week.

Installed a garmin overlander GPS on my new to me 2019 Sidewinder SRX. I have given up on refurbished Garman GPS products there’s a reason they’re refurbished .they don’t hold up well in the cold weather that I ride in.

Put all my front end parts together. Installed the Oilite bushings using threaded rod to avoid breaking any of the bushings. Only surprise was having to sand down the main vertical spindles shafts as they were too tight going into the new bushings. Just showing one completed side. Also painted the rear flap metal bracket as it was pretty rusty and and hitch.
Tomorrow I'll finish up and show the complete sled.

Installed New front bumper on the SW. Much more front protection! Pre season checks on the Apex, couple new bogie wheels, greased front and rear suspension. Installed the greaser lower drive shaft bearing. Great product thanks BOP! Ready for snow!
