I have seen a best of 156 on the dream o meter over a 4" fresh powder field on old tracks from other sleds so I had decent traction.

What is everyone else seeing? I have a 25T top gear and CB perf clutching for those curious. :nos
 

133MPH on asphalt. That would be about 155 on dream - o - meter.

Grind one tooth off the speedo pick up gear and your speedo will be within 1 or 2% accurate. The stock speedo setup is about 15% off.

25/38 gearing
hard packed/ice road
2 teeth milled off of the speedo gear, 180° apart (this was done because the dream-meter is off 11mph at top mph)
extroverts, stock track with windows cut out, low GT windshield, 168 pic pattern with 1.325 Woody's Golddigger's

146mph

That is flying. Your speedo might be a little low. I know mine with one tooth shaved is almost dead on. I have been passing through the traps at 131-132 on speedo and my slip says I'm doing 129 mph.

How is acceleration with that 25 tooth gear? I forget if my stock top gear is a 23 or 24...not sure.
 
Terry is that a 100hp shot?

I run the 25 top gear and its a little sluggish compared to the stock gear but still gives me sore shoulders from holding on. My well set up viper never hurt my shoulders so even tuning it down off the N20 shes stronger.
 
90 horse (advertised) finally dialed in, and feels good from start to finish. Scared the bejesus out of me! I had it really pig rich!
 
terry can you share your dialed in specs.my 03 with a 60 needs more to make 1 pass against my buddies turbo.think of steeping up to 90.oh yea,did you really get to keep that v-max 4 from pinks?

What nozzles do you have? 10grams?

You have the 2 nozzle setup I presume, and you can change them out for (2) 15 Gram per second nozzles, and turn out the fuel screws a full turn.

Yes, brought the sled home with me, had it for 4-5 months, and sold it just before the show was going to air.
 
two nozzle set-up,not sure on the gram size 60 shot.how many turns on the fuel screw are you out? can't believe you were risking losing your sled.have you ever raced a turbo sled?what was the outcome.we run about 1000 ft.just got to beat him one time.

Stone (ernie) has the 2x 15gr kit on his Apex (same as mine) and has run 9.47 @ 138.8 mph on tar this past summer. I don't think anyone has a trail turbo doing that (forgive me if I'm wrong turbo boys!).

Be aware that some of the Holtzman kits have different fuel adjuster screws....mine is silver colored (7 turns out), others are little brass ones that are like 1.5 turns out (or something like that).

Take a look at your nozzles, I think they should be stamped. Leaning out your fuel much more than the recommended starting point won't make much more power.
