if you had your options on your controller for a mpi stage 1 supercharger which would you choose and why? gems, power commander or rb3. i know you can change the timing, fuel and rev limiter for with the rb3 but i don't know about the others. if there's another one that's better please include it in the list.

I currently have a gems and it is like a moody woman, fine one day and need to pay alot of attention tuning the next to get it to behave. mind you I do ride in quite a few different sea level areas. I just ordered psychomoto's new programmer so once I get it and install it I will be posting my findings. You can still find his posts on page two of this area.

This I have heard nothing but good things about Jeff's controller and his customer service is top notch. I will be running one on my turbo nytro in the near future.

Uhuu?
Anyhow, on a low boost application i would look @ Psychosled's setup, or a regular PC5 for that matter from Ulmer Racing.
On high boost applikations i would add external injectors and hook them up to an MCX Gen5 ECU with some goodies .
Boost-It also works, but nothing i would bother with on an Stage 1 kit cause it also run external injectors.

I sent you a PM as well. I like the GEMS but I think its because I am always in the same elevation sled works perfect with a extra 100hp.
If I were to upgrade I would definitly go to the physcosled system. The boost it is expensive and probably overkill for what you need.

Is there an Adroid app available by MCX to plug into display/logging unit to make fuel table changes? Seems to me for $800 option by now we shouldn't have to rely on a laptop to make changes.
