You can get snow trackers through any dealer that sells through Automatic distributors.
What does "Automatic distributors" mean?

i can pass other people in corners lol ....no pushing no bullpoop
they are bolt on and go no shimming
i have the 7" studboy shaper carbides and 144 studboy powerpoint 1.375 studs up the middle of the track...
it is a little harder to turn when going very slow
how often u do that lol
im using the mid fins and are perfect for just about every condition even very deep snow... these skis are 2"inches wider than stock skis, floatation is greatly improved
less getting stuck
i got the bobby unser package that gives u all three sets of fins and the power steering plates and have not had any reason to use the power steering plates yet.... no need to
u can dial these skis in for what u like with the fins, and for differing conditions while riding the trails
no other skis are like these
Trust me u Will Love Them Just Like I Do
X2 I have used them for 2 seasons now and am very happy. However, they are too agressive if you use a track under the 1.25" lug highth. Tried them with a 1" predetor track and could not get the the skis light enough for the front end. If you use a smaller lug go with the C&A Pros. good floatation and agressive keel.

Automatic distributors is like a smaller version of Parts Unlimited, they are based out of Bangor Maine and sevice mostly newengland. They even have their own line of clothing called Katahdin (named after the only big hill here in northern maine)

amd's apex

This has been a great post. I've had my '06 Apex for 2 seasons now. 1st season I ran the stock skis with single bar. I hated it, so next season I ran a dual carbide and it helped with the darting but the turning sucks. I was completely owned by a Polaris 700 because he could turn so much better then I could. So after reading the posts on the subject I'm going to buy some Simmons skis. With my new track and skis I should be able to be alot faster.

I run the USI triple threat skis. I run the stage one set up most of the time. I only have a little bit of darting on certain conditions. other wise 95% or more there is no darting. They turn easy and can run 300 mile days and not be wore out.

Curves. They did as Nick said...add another 10mph to some of us old farts that can't seem to slow down, even though it's getting harder to see at a hunnerd per in a field..lol.
Seriously, the control on the front of my 06 rtx is so good, it's almost boring. Predictable and minimal ski lift let's you place the sled exactly where you want it, and under power, the outside still bites good, making it easy to pick a line.
I'm not talking F1 like tire sticking to the pavement, more of a controlled slide, that's easy to control. No darting either. The only thing is a lot of centering feel, which I personally like. I've always shimmed the back of my skis to reduce darting and unwanted bite, which makes them forgiving, especially when I'm riding over my head again....
Stud boy shapers for bars.

I called A.D. and they indicated these can also be purchased through JR Graham. While I was on the phone with A.D., I looked up the Snowtrackers in the Graham catelog and they were not the snowtrackers sold by Royal Distributing. So, for now, it looks like Royal is the only place to purchase the genuine snowtrackers.

I have had Simmons, C&A razors, stock with duels, stock with bergstrom, and now I finally got the powderhounds on the sled I bought in the spring so i have no miles on them yet, looking forward to it.
First stock skis, with dual carbides they handle the trail fine, no darting, predictable in the turns and even though its pushing its almost fun because its controllable and you can feel like your on the edge.
Cons - lost about 5 mph and on loose snow they pushed real bad to the point where I had to slow down most of the time.
Stock with bergstrom tripple points - got the top speed back, no darting and never wear. I think for 95% of trail riding just a carbide switch works great. I prefer a little more bite so I opted for some new skis.
First I had the C&A razors unreal ski they were on a viper and the sled was literally attached to rails never seen a sled bit so hard in a corner this was the first sled where I expereienced G forces while turning...consider me hooked. Sold the sled and skis went with it.
Next i tried simmons I'll be honest I bought into the whole added suspension bit, yeah there is nothing there for 'added suspension" ran the 6" triple points on the outside and 4" simmons on the inside. They worked great no darting, no top speed loss, and predictable. CONS - steering effort was increased enough that I cared about it. ALso everyone says off trail they rule and I found the opposite off trail it felt like I had boat anchors up front, they just sank.
This year Powder hounds and I'm excited to try them!

If all your doing is groomed trail, Arrow skis are the best I have tested and use them still. I have loaned them for others to use on their sleds and they all can't believe how easy they steer and how great they bite and don't dart on any condition I have found, unlike all the other skis I have tried. (though I have dartless on a set of hounds that don't dart)
If your still not sure, just put some dartless plates on the stockers and keep your money for a while, you will find some used skis.
