Put on 125 mikes on yesterday, I was the only sled at Boon Fire pit, seen a handful of sleds all day, figured I best get out before the rain comes later this week, happy New Year folks.sled runs way better with the 3” sandale compared to the 2.5 I had .

Seems as thou I'm being trained to wait until after the first.
Definitely enough snow around for an early start!
Sadly, rain is coming and warmer than normal temps with it. Ugh!!

Enjoy......

I have had two rides since 12/18 for about 175 miles. The new EPS is a game changer for me. We have a thaw coming for the next 5 or six days. We will see how things hold up.

Closing in on 500 miles so far, this one plus 100 on my kids 4000 RR

I wish I had one with eps, I have a bad shoulder, I bet it would help, I tried to spring order a 23 but was late to the dance, maybe a 24. Who knows, I have my 20 running so good I hate to leave it.

Should stay home but taking the ride Sunday North and west for a shakedown run. If we find anything decent will stay and ride Monday. Late too game and bummed but will get what we can.

I have a 23 SRX coming that last I heard was scheduled for late Jan delivery, but I bet I don't realistilicly see it till the seasons over anyway. I too have bad shoulders and bad elbows, but my 17 is perfected, fast, rebuilt and really-really good as far as steering ease with BOP mechanical arms and Pilot R's with SnoTrackers, I really can't believe power steering helping it much, but I still intend to try one anyway. My buddy is finally getting to ride his 22 with power steering and we'll see what he has to say about it. Last I spoke with him about it he didn't think it was much or any better than what we already had, and we both run the same setup with the BOP arms and snowtrackers on Doo skis, but he only had a couple hundred miles on it too, so time will tell as the season goes along.

I'm just back from vacation and have come back to a meltdown, we were off to a nice start with lots of snow and cold weather when I left town, thought it was looking like a good season start and now, well all we can hope for is some more snow but we need cold wether for that not warm weather.....

I have been the only one at Boon fire many a time. Was just there a few weeks ago in fact. Had to stay home with family for the holidays but if we get more snow you can bet I will be up there.

Well.....I'm finally ready to go. For a traveler, current conditions look spotty at best. Southern UP still has open holes & plenty of mud, in and around lake Gogibic. Not exactly sure about Northwoods, Wis.
Munising and surrounding areas are probably a best bet.

Got one day of trail riding before the heat wave hit :). But was enough to remember why this is the best outdoor activity!

I had a 50 miles shakedown ride yesterday, first of the season. Thumbs up to my upgrades this year: BOP MPS, driveshaft saver, ice attack track, removable belly pans, shock rebuild by Eric's Sales and Service. Thumbs down to my reassembly of the Thunder Products belt adjuster where I had the washer cockeyed and burned through my carbon fiber belt.... Easy fix though! Bring on the snow!
