the ground and water are frozen perfectly here just no snow at all. we have maybe an inch of snow and none is forcasted or the next 2 weeks at all.

Sounds like you have a little more than we do (Durham Region) but we're in the same pickle, no snow forecast and it's suppose to be +6 here tomorrow! :o|

No riding for me yet. Co-worker rode in Tug last night(Redfield). Stopped after 35 miles, said that the trails are shot, and would doubt you would be able to keep grooming.

Trails north of Ottawa (Gatineau/Laurentians) are slowly opening, only partially groomed but looks promising for this weekend. Colder temps lately have helped harden things up and a couple of inches of fresh snow this week will help. 150kms last week and hoping for 2-300 this Sat..Check out that Cochrane Ont. Vid in Photos/Videos for a quick fix, some great early season riding, thanks Muskoka Man ;)!

Bracebridge , All Ontario central and southern trails are closed !

WE ARE THE MAIN SNOWBELT AREA IN ONTARIO

+4 rain , no base only 4-6in snow

Trails are open........however no snow on the east side of state. Giving it another week before I load up and head to the Huron Mountains of the UP. I am having major withdrawls, it is bad enough to make you :drink:

"Maybe this is the season that we see a few members give up on the trail riding, and get a taste of what Big Mountain riding is all about"

Heading to St Germain tonight for the weekend. Will let you know.
How about that 73 degrees yesterday at Rapid City, put the sleds away and get the cycles out!!

Northern maine has about 6" on the ground. Been cold and everything is locked up. The groomer was out on Tuesday but I'm not sure how many trails they were able to do because there is not enough snow to really fill in the woods trails.. No real snow in sight either.

Riding in Northern NB...

I'm watching the snow melt right now, looking out the window at work. Yes, it's +4 and I'm even beginning to worry about the ice on the lake! Go figure, the year I buy a new sled...and its supposed to be +5C all next week.

Central WI has maybe an inch of snow, which will mostly be melted by tonight. Up north I hear they have snow but all trails are pretty much in early season condition and getting hit hard with people traveling north. Bad year to buy a new sled....
