Who's using.....

If you come to the TY ride to race you will not be allowed to join the Ride. Rides are about enjoying each others company and talking about sleds and so on....not who can get to the next stop the fastest. I do not organize any race events on a ride and if you want to go race do it with some respect to others in your own area not on a daily ride. The thing thats really a pain is like in Canada, when we hit the lake...all these so called racers blasted by everyone throwing ice and snow all over the riders that dont want to race or take that risk on a lake and THAT is not going to happen with me on a ride.

And dirk you have done this to me before cutting in front of me tossing crap on my sled....and no one likes a HOT DOG. Sometimes step back and think about how you like to be treated on a sled and do the same to your fellow rider.

Yes and I've apologized 3 Million times. Again I'm sorry Tom. It's something The guys I ride with do to each other. It's all in fun.

In regard to racing It's fun for me. The Day we went to Gwinn was awesome and I appreciate the gentleman's effort that put on the event.

no racing on ty time tom. i thought a little ride down to 5 mile down by the jack pine. havent see much carnage there. ;)! you have plenty of room for 2 to line up!!! 660-1000-2000 you name it

There are lots of good places to run. A buddy of mine and i found a place last year. There is a trail that connects trail 8 to the trail out of Grand Marias that takes you to seney. Just before you spill out onto that hard road that take you past the Hot dog stand there is a turn to the right which tracks you back to trail 8. On that trail there is a plowed road you can see over a mile on. It's super wide and great for racing.

Sorry but people come to ride not to race. There is a time and place for that kind of stuff. Dont get me wrong, I like to go fast but as I said there is a time and place!!

well to me the the stock set was cool, the warrior hooked up well. but with nos it is a RIOT!!!!! nitrous is for when the time is right. could be out of turn 1, or with someone on the side of you. sorry black 1000 for the hijack, just thought we could get a couple a kits side by side and you could make your choice from there. just trying to use the old snow dyno...... its called RACING!!!!!!

WOW , this did get off the beaten path of who is using. I do want to thank all that replied on the actual topic. I am still looking at a system before this winter and I will look to see if I will run a bottle heater or not but will have to do some more research. Pimped is going to dyno his rage without a heater this summer and that should tell me a little more from a personal stand point for he is my kid.

I don,t use a heater but I do have a turbo and it seems to make up for any inconsistances when I use the nitrous, so I would put a turbo and nitrous on then you should be covered.

 that's cool

Ok, so what I'm getting here is I should either by all of them and test head to head to head with and with out bottle heater by myself on a closed course with NASA or equivalent gathering and posting results in a controled enviroment or by none and not lose my already fragile mind.

On a more serious note I am still heavily leaning toward the BOSS system but for my own peace of fragile mind get a controlled bottle heater and self test against my own radar in 10 runs.

(LOADED) What do you guys think????????????????????

:nos :nos :jump: :jump:

I like the Boss system and I like the bottle heater. It doesn't hurt anything by running it "Bottle Heater". If you do some research on the Internet you'll find most recommend bottle heaters for all applications "cars, trucks, Motorcycles, and sleds.

The only reason Boon Docker, Boss and Holtzman say you don't need a heater is most sled don't have a Battery. You have one so you should utilize it.
