Winder cuts out

Stock pump, I believe it to be something electrical/tors related as when I turn the sled off and turn it back on, the first 3 pulls it goes like a bat out of hell but will backfire and reduce power on the 4th pull and all beyond

Sounds like fuel filter/ pick up screens are plugged somewhat or cracked fuel Ines inside tank. Need to put a fuel pressure gauge on it. Goes until fuel slipper in tank runs out of fuel the goes lean pop backfires.

Those are gapped a smidge high? .032 ? I thought .020 was the number
Manual says .028-.031 , .032 was the gap I checked on my old plugs. I set the gap on the new ones at .028

Turning to the left consistently causes the issue? Have you inspected near the steering column to see if the tank vent or the throttle cable is snagging there somehow? May just be coincidence. Pick up in the tank high and dry when turning to the left? Have you inspected in the tank for this possibility?

Take a look at this thread from a few years back. Max Rolph was having a similar problem...lots of good info in this. Start at post 262 and on.

Throttle switch seems to be good and property adjusted, I hear it clicking and and can just barely slide a credit card between the flipper
that seems a little tight. might be worth just opening it up a little, especially if turning the bars all the way is stretching the cable.

I believe the spec for the throttle flipper gap is .030-.060".

Check to see if throttle cable is seated properly inside the rubber sleeve near handlebar riser area.

Pull fuel pump and crows feet out of tank and clean, had same problem with my 2021 riot 9000 i created, filters were restricting fuel flow to pump and causing it to over heat

Mine will do it on a full tank but will check it out

I will try this today

The shutting down at full left turn is only when completely off the throttle, so that's probably throttle cable and tors related or a kink in the wiring for the tors or kill switch, throttle cable isn't snagging on on anything as I've checked numerous times and the TPS degree value is 0.0 when turning the bars left to right at idle or no gas and 80° at wide open as that's what it should be.

It may be electrical but be aware your pushing the fuel pump(stock) for 270 tune. especially if you do not have return line running into slipper in back.
Not to high jack but I run 270 also with stock pump and I do not have return line unless its there stock. What does it do. Sorry if its a dumb question

The return line is not stock its a mod done by many for fuel sloshing and fuel starvation when your tank gets below 3 gallons of gas. It takes the unused fuel from the fuel rail(fuel return line) and dumps into the fuel slipper where the fuel pump is located. If your WFO and your fuel is low and the pump sucks a little air you get cutting out and back firing. NOT HEALTHY for any motor. There is a link (above) on a post I made several years ago addressing this issue. IMHO your playing with fire with a stock pump on 270 tunes without return line mod especially when you get low on fuel.

Ok i'll look into it. I usually don't let tank get to low but there might be that day. Thanks for the heads up.
