Today I purchased aftermarket handwarmers to install on a 2008 Nytro. The warmers have blk/red/ white wires and instructions say that 1 is high 1 is low and 1 is ground. They are to be wired into the existing switch wiring which is only 2 wires.... Do i wire high/low together and 2nd wire is the ground? I know everyone recommends the yamaheaters and RSI etc but i needed heat and want to get out there.
Any direction is appreciated.
Thanks

yes both powers to one wire and the ground to the other. that's what I did with mine. What brand did you get?

Ground wire doesn’t go to the switch it goes to chassis ground. The high and low go to the switch

They are just an aftermarket from a supplier. I just didn't want to blow a fuse or something by wiring wrong.

Oh I see one wire is already ground. Ecu adjusts voltage to warmers through one wire. I suppose you could tie them together or just use the high

So, as an update. the new grips had 3 wires and the stock heaters only had 2. I ran a ground off the new grips and connected the other 2 wires to the stock 2 wires. worked fine today in -14C temps.
