im very impressed with the xs 825 belt , im over 800 miles now and a lot of those miles were at wot on a boosted srx , zero belt dust , very little belt stretch ,
the only thing I have not tried is comparing the xs 825 vs 8jp on the radar gun to see what belt is faster , we all no the 8dn is a tough belt , and alittle slower on top end , if anyone nows the answer weather the new xs825 vs 8 jp , is a faster belt , please share , thanks

I honestly don't see what all the hype is over the XS825 belt. I got 3,200 miles on the original JP. Tried the XS825 because I heard so many good things. What I found was, in real cold weather, when I first started out I the morning, the sled would just not move. I would have to rev the #*$&@ out it to get it to move. Once the belt was warm, there was no issue. Also noted much higher clutch temps, I mean you could not touch the clutches at all, they were HOT. I switched back to the original belt.

First person I have heard temps were warmer. I found temps were down. Overall I like the xs belt seems to last longer with 290 tune! I have not tried the 2 belts against the gun on the same day/ conditions.I honestly don't see what all the hype is over the XS825 belt. I got 3,200 miles on the original JP. no not on the gun , but im back using the 8jp this past season and working just fine for meHave you compared the XS 825 to the 8 JP on the gun yet?
I just finished a 2500 mile season on one 8DN belt. Tuned Winder, lots of high speed rail bed and lake running, occasional snow drags, towing ice fishing sled ect.
On my sled, on the GPS, the 8DN is down a few mph top end compared to the 8JP, but over 115 mph on a 141" x 1.75" track is already crazy fast in my books!
Works for me!

Not to go off topic but the reason you saw increased temps with xs825 is you were likely over pinching it and causing heat. It requires a totally different setup then the 8JP. Its easier on all clutch components because it doesnt require huge springs and heavy weights to hold it like the 8JP does on a tuned sled.I honestly don't see what all the hype is over the XS825 belt. on my sled I never saw a difference in top end speed using xs825 vs 8jp, granted I have lower gears and 1.75 track so its not a top speed rocket but none the less I experienced no difference in speed

So you have 24-50 in there ? What did you see for speed. I just got a Hurricane175, cant wait. Just noticed your different skid and track. Can the XS-825 and 8JP be swapped back and forth, or are they WAY different. Not to go off topic but the reason you saw increased temps with xs825 is you were likely over pinching it and causing heat. The difference will be less with stock or smaller tunes and the difference will be larger with bigger tunes as that is when the 8JP struggles more to grip the clutches. Yes I have 24-50 gears and best I saw was 118 speedo with hurricane track. my speedo is within 3% of gps according to my findings. So you have 24-50 in there ? What did you see for speed.
