OK, for all you guys thinking about buying Rock's Yamaheater now is the time. The system is slick as heck, easy to install, and very well made.
Oh, and top notch customer service. So let's buy a few more units so Rock can pay for his transmission and get home to produce more units! G.B.

Rock...Thanks for taking the time to swing by and drop the Yamaheater off. Is this the correct link (Phazer):

Gotta be at work early, early on Friday, so that means I leave early so I'm installing it then. Will get some pics to you when done. Thanks again.
BTW, did you file any patent paperwork? You should.

Got mine installed tonight. Tested it on the stand and works great. I was previously running the 06 bars but swapped them out for the 07 bars now that I have the controller.

As promised Rock delivered. I was worried about getting the unit before my trip. He said it would be here and it was. Install was quick easy and painless. I tried it out for the first time tonight and what a difference.
Rock I hope you get rich from this product you deserve it.

rock: help
my led light is just backwards from what you say it should be. if I run up the r.p.m.s it will go from red to green, then after the rpms slow down it will go to red. did I do something wrong?

Tried calling you, left a message.
Most likely you have it right.
If the RPMs are too low, the ECU will put out nothing, so there is nothing for the Controller to detect and it thinks the ECU is off and reacts accordingly.
Also If the idle is too low, the battery is being discharged every minute the sled sits running at idle.
You may get a grip error if this happens, are you getting any?
What are your current RPMs at idle?
What RPMs are required to get green LED?
Would shoot for 1000-1200 or so, that way your battery always gets good charging.
May want to trickle charge your battery also, if the battery voltage is low, the ECU quits outputting to the grips.
(If the battery voltage is just somewhat low, it will still start the sled, but the ECU senses the low voltage and shuts off the grips.)
Hope this helps!

Don't always make it, but do try to get them to you guys before you leave for trips!

hey rock
I put it on my sons sled wow it is AWESOME!!!! Now for my 07 Attak GT would that work? I wonder cuz of the electronic shocks is controlled on same hand heater side by changing the mode to operate shock damping then switch mode to back to hand heater would this still work? Hope I am not confusing you! Thanks you ROCK!

Re: hey rock
Lol, is ok, have seen the switch mode you are talking about (Heat or Shock).
If I hadn't seen it, I might wonder about ya... lol
Yes, it will work with the Attak, as it will on any of the 4-strokes.
It doesn't care about the shock at all or which mode you have the switch on the bars in (Shock or Heat), it will simply give you Warm Hands, still controlled by the handlebar controls!.
Hope this helps!
