Hi Guys!
REALLY glad to see you like! *beams*
I am riding in Gaylord right now, and don't have access to my email, so leave me a PM here if you need to get ahold of me.
Heading to bed, so I can go riding tomorrow!!!
Delivering a number of controllers here tomorrow, and playing in the snow!
Superman! You ready to play?

I will email you the pics when he emails them to me from his camera phone. I would have NEVER done as good a job on this as he did. Nice to have an expert in the family
Awesome Dave!
Have looked into using the fuse box for power, unfortunately that only has an advantage on the Apex and the RX-1, the rest of the sleds, it is easier to go to the solenoid.
Glad ya got it in!
What's going on with your sled?
Rock
Rock, I am going to install mine tonight. Where do you suggest pulling power in a 05 - 07 Rage/Vector? Fuse box or solenoid? Thanks, G.B.

There are a couple options, directly to the battery, or use a 1/4" short bolt and stop nut on the jumper terminals. Suggest mounting the Controller on the frame rail above the clutch towards the rear of the sled.
Hope this helps!
Heading out riding!

Thanks Rock. I am heating the garage up so I can install your unit tonight. I will see what makes to the most sense for pulling power.
Dude you need to be riding and not answering my questions right now! I did not see your post about riding until after I listed mine. Enjoy your weekend. Thanks again, G.B.

Rock. The led does not change to red. With key on no led. Start sled, led turns green with warmers switch on high. Turn warmer switch to off, led does not turn red. Mode switch is in the on position. Led does not change in intensity that I can see when I put brakes on. It is daylight. Yellow wire is going to harness. Orange to bars.07 Apex

The led only changes intensity on mine when its in the red mode. You sure your adjusting the handwarmers and not the thumb warmer? Only reason I ask is because I did the same thing and was like DOH I'm on the thumbwarmer circuit! LOL
Make sure your 12V source is good and that you have a good ground.

Left control is hand warmers. Red wire is hooked straight to battery hot jumper connections. Ground is good.

The LED should turn red with the mode switch on and the hand warmer control turned all the way down, no bars, if I understand it correctly. Thats when it should be cooking with heat in the grips. G.B.

Just got a call from Rock. Issue fixed in minutes. Seems I was not the first to have this problem. When pushing the male spade from the blue wire onto the tapon that goes on the headlight sense wire, the spade pushed off to the side. Straightened it out and problem solved. This is a common occurence when using these and I have ran into it before, but didn't think to check that. Allways check the basic's guys!
I used a pisspore camera to take a pic of how a spade can be pushed over like I described. You should be able to get the idea. I apoligize to anybody that is offended by the poor pic I posted.
Thanks Rock. Off to a radar run I go.

I had the same problem, but being a electrician, I trouble shot it till I got it. The blue crimp on tee is pointed and can push the spade over. Can't wait to try it today as today's ride will be with a a hight temp of 0F.............
