I'm happy with the knockout kit, so far, so good. If I didn't think it helped I'd say so.

Some are happy and some are not. That's just the way it goes.I'm happy with the knockout kit, so far, so good. If I didn't think it helped I'd say so.
I wouldn't have taken advice to try the Nitro hub if The knockout kit was working flawless for me.
I've talked to quite a few different people. And The chronic complainers are the ones with unmaintained clutches. Nothing you can do to help them. That would be like installing The knockout kit on a worn out clutch and expecting miracles. Lol! My clutch, as always stated, was flawless and maintained.
Like knapp said, the specific Nitro shaft is not sitting on everybody's shelf waiting to be sold. But for the guys who find their personal clutch perfectly maintained yet problematic it's another possible solution to the problem. Fact is we've known about this since 2019. don't know why everyone just didn't pay attention over the years?!?!

Understand....I'm not using the knockout kit with the 1049 shaft as the data could/would be skewed.@Doc Harley I just noticed that Turbo Dynamics has a statement about the 1049 shaft and the knockout kit

The knockout kit is still in my factory 998t shaft.
So my shaft, housing, bearing & knockout kit is still intact sitting on the shelf.

So you are just using the nytro stub shaft alone? Interesting... Can you set those videos to public so we can see/hear them.

I can take a picture of my old Snub shaft intact with knockout kit, using the Chiefs and Ravens game as a backdrop. Hahahaha....

The sleeve won't fit in the other shafts, where it sits is different depth.

"Timken (Japan) normal" I assume is bearing. Factory bearing has C3 fit due to press fit and high heat. Wonder if tighter bearing fit has anything to do with why it's quieter?Someone else gave me the advice to give this a try. As he claims the Nitro shaft has a tighter tolerance. He was very specific as to which model/part he used. I'll find it

I use the Timken (Japan) normal.
