Had this problem is cold weather last year. Unplug the sensor on the left side of the airbox and crank at 1/4 throttle. Should start right up. Haven't had the problem this year. It seems to have cured itself?

I have a set on my 06 Attak after going through 5 sets in first 5000 miles. They appear to be wearing fine. No melting or heat buildup yet. Worth the money in my opinion. I will move them to my next Yammy! GW

Just remove the two bolts holding it in AND the 3 screws holding the tunnel adjuster. You will also need to remove the rear bolt holding the transfer rod. GW
