thanks for the pics,was wondering if you had one that showed a closeup of the shock orientation in the a arm

can anybody with a newly installed zbros front end post a picture up for me,especially the position of the shock between the upper a arm.

you can try it,we use this stuff on farm machinary all the time,make sure what you are spraying it on is clean and dry,it's messy crap,we've used it on blades and snow buckets without much success.

i went with the cobra,in my opinion better soft snow performance than a ripsaw, and on the trail you can slide the rear end around easier,don't know much about the intense track,i did a little clutch work and kept the gears the same,also if you are doing a track swap, extroverts are almost a must.

alot of the time the stuff in the yamaha accessory catalog is cheaper than the similar stuff in the parts book.

i think the 136 makes the shorties ride better,and if you are trail riding and you want to do some boondocking at least you have a pretty good chance of getting back on the trail i went with the 136 from oft it's got a tipped up rail.it seems to be a pretty solid kit,the only thing i would add...

bradford how many miles do you have on the sled?

my 08 nytro is quicker than my 06 out of the hole,but in a half mile my 06 will run it down,with my 06 i've smoked many 700's

the top one isn't as critical but the bottom one it is absoulutely imperative that it doesn't lose the nut.i can tell you for a fact that it's not a good deal.for the record i used red locktight on mine too.

if you ride the nytro like it's supposed to be rode,then, and i can't tell by your pictures if it's done or not,it would be highly advised to drill the spindle bolts and put safety cotter pins on so you don't loose the nuts.

i stretched my shorty to 136 with the oft extension works wonderful.but i think you'll want to add some wheels at the tip up.if i was to do it again i might go 141 though.got rid of the ripsaw and replaced it with a cobra,and never looked back.

i installed gussets similar to what you have done,and i think it is a good idea,but in addition,you mention the skid plate,i think that this is important also,i built one similar to roests',but used tee nuts welded to the frame to mount the skid plate,if for no other reason to see if i could...

ak rider i'd agree with you on that two piece spindle.i have already broken two spindles, and with my kind of riding i don't see the two piece design holding up real especially in the twisties.

in the yamaha accessory catalog you'll find the wheels that will work,ran my extension without wheels at first,got 400 miles out of my sliders,i feel wheels are a must.i had to take a file to both of my sliders to get the extensions to fit,just figured the guy running the extruder shears was...
