If drive belt is too tight it can grind trying to put into reverse....if you have checked all the linkage adjustments, then look at the belt next, and loosen slightly if too tight

If I am reading this correctly, you are loosing the rpm in deeper snow?? this is normal from the apex in stock form. used to piss me off as none of the Polaris ever changed rpm from hardpark to deep..(this is how it should work). two things that I found to help are ulmers clutch kit, or a "team"...

Just did mine....it was a starter relay that is next to the battery. As suggested in an above post, Rocks "starter saver" light helped me diagnose because no power was going past the relay when it acted up(so no light while cranking). good luck. Oh ya....$45.00 for a new relay.

X3 on what the above guys said....just went thru this. You have to remove the airbox. Also worth noting to check grounds in the 3 plugs taped up on the left side of steering gate. Others have had issues with these, but mine were ok

Many of the "racer" versions of quads came with no warrenty....now that is a hozzing. But back on topic. Two teeth off my 07 attak is very close. while my brothers 2011 is very close out of the box......maybe 2 percent off?

You need to know if it is a normally open switch, or a normally closed switch, makes a difference on how it is wired

Wow, that is a very wide range to stay in....lets see, the sledstart remote is great, HID lights really help. Ulmers clutch kit gives great bottom and midrange, but may hurt the top end a couple mph. Cobra track really hooks up on groomed packed snow trails, but also hurts top end a couple MPH...
