I just got a 2011 xtx and I added a Seat Jack for the rare occasion my 130LB wife wants to ride . Does any one know if they make heavier springs ? Bottoming out weigh to much. I weigh 270. Dealer is useless as always. Thanks for any advice.

A friend of mine has one and loves it but is disappointed with the power as compared to his APEX. He wishes he would have kept the APEX until Yamaha puts a 150 HP or better engine in that chassis. After riding his Viper I upgraded and bought a 2011 APEX XTX. If and when Yamaha gets this thing up...
Do it all the time with my Apex and Phazer. 2 man Frabil sled house with auger and all my gear in sled. Guessing weighs around 400 lbs. Can hardly tell its back there. The sleds slide very easily. Just make sure the sled is not frozen to the lake before you take off.
I just bought a used Apex XTX with 4k miles on it. Been riding a 2007 standard Apex. Was wondering if there is anything I should look out for as compared to my 07?

My Apex shines on the Bigfork River in MN. The Phazer not so good. The Phazer shines on the trails on they way to the river. The Apex, not so good. I would like a Yamaha to do both.
