06 Apex mtn mcx build.

Checked the compression on the affected cylinder, and the one next to it. They were close, so I think we are good. 150 psi on the affected one, and 140 psi on the neighbour. I`d say the difference could be fuel residue, or not getting the gauge hose tight enough or maybe I cranked the highest one a little more, who knows. The main thing is that the affected cylinder isn`t lower than the other (aka bent rods..).
Getting the engine to crank was hard to do, as I had removed the mcx box, and therefore had a few wires cut. There was no life in the sled whatsoever, even tried jumping it to rule out a dead battery. So I had to jump the positive wire going to the starter, at the starter solenoid.
After finishing the test, I put a tablespoon of oil in the affected cylinder and cranked it some more, to lube it in case it was washed out. Then i put the plugs and coils back. Next up will be putting the mcx box back in, changing the injectors and doing an oil and filter change.

Is it normal to have so much English language in Sweden/Norway? Cool to see his shop on an appropriately named road LOL Did they say which country is the largest business for MCX? Just curious.

I think you are safe on the compression test. Very lucky actually with a stuck injector. I can't remember is that motor stock?

Yes, i`d say so, we all learn english as a second language in school.
We did not talk about that, but my guess is US or Canada would be their biggest markets. The number of people in the snowmobile "sport" isn`t that big over here, and people tuning their sleds is even less..
Motor is stock, except the thicker head gasket.
