2005 Manitoba TY Ride - Information Needed

Guys, I have a bit of a delima. I am flying into Minneapolis this Sunday and taking the sled into the dealer for quick hyfax change on Monday morning. The TY ride doesn't start until Thursday, so the question is where do I ride in the mean time?

I was going to hook up with Convert and ride in the Bemidji area for a couple of days and then head up to Beausejour. But the weekend weather has stopped that approach.

One, is anyone headed up to Beausejour and riding earlier than the official start? Two, is anyone riding on Monday and Tuesday before heading up/down to Beausejour?

I can drive to pretty much anywhere. Just looking for some folks to ride with.

I have a reservation at the Super 8 starting Tuesday night. I am sure I could get a room Monday night and just spend Monday driving up from Minneapolis, and be in position to ride starting Tuesday. I rode the area last January and the trails were the best I have ever ridden. I was hoping some people might get an early jump on the riding. I will call the Super 8 tomorrow and see about an extra night lodging. I will take you up on your offer to ride. After flying over 4,000 miles, you are right that I need to get in as much riding as I can. As long as we stay away from open water, I am game. Did a 240 mile day with Tork and Bluedog and was ready for riding the next day!

Sounds great to me. 240 miles a day is nnnooooo problem. I'll try to take us where the TY Ride will not be going so you won't see the same sites twice. Are you sure you only want to do 240 miles a day? :ORC BTW open water is for summer time boating, BRRRR.

I' m in for riding that week also. Booked off on holidays for the week before and after the ride. Only one hitch...I may have to do a groomer run either tuesday or tuesday night. I will see what I can do about that unless you want to ride a groomer tuesday night for 6-7 hours.

srxtwins that would be great if you could join us, I had a great ride with you on Sunday. I was thinking of taking suisse south to Richer, Marchand & up to Falcon Lake. You said you have not gone there so that would be a new ride for both of you. Are you in?
