2006 mcx apex fuel problems

im having a very simulay issue, starts to lose power after 3/4 throttle. I checked my pumps and they r both running. I wonder if my pump is going or if the oem tank pump is lagging the external pump...

Remove the pump from the tank.
Get the MCX pickup replacement that comes with all newer kits. It uses the stock filter. When the internal pump weakens your inline pump will starve for fuel.

does mcx sell just the pickup? what are they worth? I think i have been having the same prob for the last couple of years off and on.... Powderlites makes on to i think

Just got mine in the mail and the invoice said 79$ plus tax. Mine is a single line type, the return is at the front of the tank.
