2014 Viper Oil Light

Yeah mines a little over Full Think maybe that's why mines coming on

I actually filled it up too much and let it idle for too long. If it gets too hot, the sled will puke excess oil out

When you notice the light for the first time did you check your oil

so all you did was an oil change put too much oil in it let it run until it got hot and spit oil out and then the light has never come on again

Well, I needed an oil change anyways. I actually used too much (I put in how much you would need if doing a filter, which is more) and when I let it get hot, I had oil dripping out my belly pan. Looking inside the panels, you could see where it spit it out in the airbox

Ok thanks man I'll do an oil change and hope this light doesn't come on again

Even if you add more oil, that should help your light issue. I only did an oil change because it had been about 2,500 miles since my last

I checked my oil though it is full

Why does this light come on when you shut the machine off sometimes

I'm curious that this issue was remedied by adding oil. Or maybe it's because I haven't pushed it hard yet this season

When I shut the sled off The light only comes on sometimes but when it comes on it stays on have to turn the key off for a minute or so until the light goes out sled will not start when light is on

Bww, Are you shutting off with kill switch or key? On your last post you said if the lights on that you need to turn off the key for a minute or so to get the light to go out? That makes me believe your using the kill switch to shut down.
Should be using the key for normal on/off and operation and the kill switch when you're on you side.
