Maybe your rear shock just need to be rebuild? If so cannondale can help you out with that
Another thing not sure how much tranfer you're expecting but a MTX will never transfer like a XTX does. But it will surely go more places with ease.

I did get the ski lift I wanted what would be the best way to check if the shock needs to be re builtMaybe your rear shock just need to be rebuild? If so cannondale can help you out with that

Unless you weigh over 300lbs, 150# in the rear rear shock seems way high. I run 120ish and weigh over 210. It rarely bottoms and I'm not afraid to jump it - 16 mtx 141. I'd say shock is blown.

I agree. We run 125# in the rear on my XTX and the kid jumps it all the time. I have riden it in very rough trails and no bottoming. I'm betting you need a refresh on both rear shocks. Center shock is notorious for getting water in it and then it's sacked. I have 4400 miles on mile sled and have had shocks refreshed twice already, and am like new again. Cannondale27 gives great service and upgrades wipers to help keep water out. Price is right too.

I gave my shocks to KPM tech, specialist in here, they put harder öhlins spring in skid front and shim. Rear skid shim + some part change(pressure valve or something?) and no need so much pressure at all and rear shock isnt so hard because pressure can be dropped and still have even better performance. So give you shock in specialist and enjoy ride!
