I don’t think you have to fear complete loss of the Yamaha snow division in 2020 from their public statements. The question is what sleds will be marketed and when and how they can be ordered in 2o20? I can’t imagine a limited line up of Vipers and SWs something new is necessary for sure.At this point I will be happy with the name Yamaha on the side of a sled in year 2020!

If inventory is completely gone and they don't plan to stay in the sled business, then it will be the perfect time to exit. Even if they have something in development ready to be released doesn't mean they will stay in the business. I really don't think they made a decision yet and are waiting to see how the beginning of next season starts out, snow wise, and the market itself!I don’t think you have to fear complete loss of the Yamaha snow division in 2020 from their public statements. If you ask me............I know nobody did, 2019 is just smoke and mirrors. They show case the new SRX as a tease for more to come. Yami has something up there sleeve for 2020, mark my words.
Too bad it wouldn't involve the triple two strokes again!!!!

Why spend some much time harping on this. If Yamaha makes sleds in the future or not who cares. The next time I want a brand new sled I'll consider my options and choose. And BTW plenty of people bought left over Winders end of this past season which is why there are so few left now. That’s proof of concept right there. And finally don’t forget there still has to sales of what is actually built for MY ‘19.

I think Yamaha has made a decision to release products in 2020 but BNG is staying in and keeping their word. Yamaha has 2 products in USA the SW and the Viper the SRX is a chopped SW a pretty blue package. I’m sure those models will be here in 2020 but if you don’t like those sleds not much for ya that is known at this point. Yamaha could have a limited early release in Fall or December if all the inventory is sold at least have a few factory rides to promote interest. All possibilities just have to see.If inventory is completely gone and they don't plan to stay in the sled business, then it will be the perfect time to exit. Lol I agree if Yamaha goes into the big hp2s it would be better to have 3 cylinders in a 950 I’m amazed at 850 twins just seems too big to me to be reliable screw the weight do it right or not at all.Darn it, why won't you 4 strokers comment on my 2 stroke references. I need to be heard by Yamaha..........lol

I will comment! If Yamaha released a 2s tomorrow I would buy it. The whole reason I left Yamaha and went to Arctic cat was because of the 2 stroke. I like the chassis but the weight of the 4 made it hard for my riding style which is back country. I hated being shot at the end of the day from throwing around the extra weight and no I'm not a lazy guy as I work out every day. Yamaha should have never quit building 2s IMO. They should have built both. If they would have done that I feel they would be a leader in the sled biz. By no means am I bashing 4s. If I was a trail rider then I would have one over a 2s.Darn it, why won't you 4 strokers comment on my 2 stroke references. I need to be heard by Yamaha..........lol

If you drove a sidewinder, you would never want to ride that Apex again.
