How much extra would you guys pay for a 50 lb lighter Sidewinder or anything of that size or Apex. Or a hundred pounds lighter?

Wouldn't pay any extra....... other OEMs are already doing it.

Good question. Yamaha has a 2 stroke 600 already in the European market and has the Ctech motor under the hood. Bigger question is why they designated it the 9000? Wasn't that reserved for the 998 turbo?

Maybe the turbo is just going to be in the Thunder Cat, seen the sneak pic of the Riot on the assembly line with the alpha rear skid in it, so maybe this Riot platform is going to offer different versions and motor combo's, the sneak pic did not look like it had a different front end though, maybe Yamaha has a new chassis platform???

Ho hum not a Cat or 2s fan could care less. Need eps new 4s Apex. It this is what some want great but not for me. Still hope Yamaha will gives us a new Apex.
