well its right there on the us patent search what yamaha has coming!!!these are facts not opinions..and there drawings are showing a turbo or supercharged 4 cylinder engine..yamaha designed chassis!!!also looks like at least another chassis but there is at least 2 new chassis coming out possibly 3...look for yourself!!!!and yes carbon fiber is part of the new chassis...say what you want but these are patents filed in june 2017.takes a while to read and figure out but its there..

Yamaha’s suspension technology got them through the 80’s-90’s and early 2000’s. Once they needed to take it to the next level they didn’t or couldn’t.
Had to use FAST exclusively to make the nytro competitive in snowcross. Without them you would have not seen them on any snowcross circuit.
Through out the mid 2000’s it’s motor motor motor and ergo’s were subpar with weak suspension handleing in there stock production sleds until they used the procross in 14. ( another manufacturer)
My whole point is if by 2020 they can’t figure it out to compete with the other 3 with a exclusive design to run a five plus year chassis design then it really doesn’t matter how good the motor technology is.
They should just keep making money in marine, dirt, asphalt, ect.
And us snowmobiles should just buy a thunder cat if you want the fastest sled on snow.

LOL I cant take credit that was from Car and Driver mag years ago when they listed the age groups for various brands Cadillac was listed as between 70 and dead.
