This has been my thought's all alongI don’t expect much probably BNG if something significant was coming Yamaha would have released a teaser. More Vipers, Sidewinders and SRX same old same old. I hope I’m wrong but zero spy pictures no teaser doesn’t bode well for 2020 line up. Looks like AC is back to 2s and Yamaha will continue to be a 4s company for Yamacats. If this is the structure it will avoid saturation of green and blue duplicate sleds. Want a 2s buy AC want a 4s buy Yamaha. Just too logical not to happen tomorrow.

Whatever you want to call it doesn't matter to me. I'm just glad there's Yamacats now and not just the uninspiring Apex's. Owned 2 and neither one did anything for me. They were great groomed trail cruisers but never really excited me.
You mean Catamahas. Yes Cat builds a good sled. Maybe some day Yamaha will build sleds again but till then there are only three choices. Poo Doo and Cat. Sad really!

So wishing Yamaha was a manufacture is wrong? We all better hope Yamaha did not mess with the rear suspension. If they did it would be a step backwards there is not a Yamaha rear suspension made that comes remotely close to the pro cross. I'm not sure why you guys wish for such things.

I really hope Yamaha didn’t lower them selves to the point they are putting arctic cat junk motors in there sleds
Well as Yamaha has no sleds they would be putting them in Cat sleds. Marriage made in USA. Why the hate for Cat?

Why dont you all see it,. Yamaha is done with sleds, they just deliver motors to Cat.And i dont think they are making the cluthces by them self eighter. As long as them making money in selling motors and printing some Yamaha stickers they are fine with that. They dont spend money.

Their other recreation divisions bring in a LOT of money compared to snowmobiling, like boats, wave runners, quads, sport bikes etc. Especially the sport bikes, that’s what lots of the R&D goes into. If they feel like the market isn’t good enough to be dumping a piss wack of money into it in order to see a return, they probably won’t. I know I wouldn’t, it’s just business. Yamaha has very deep pockets and for anyone who thinks otherwise is completely wrong.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought I heard cat trademarked the make Riot which would mean Polaris couldn't use it. I could be wrong. I was kind of surprised when I saw that yesterday. Maybe because its on a snow bike setup its different but I would bet Arctic Cat is shaking their heads at that.Polaris/timber sled just came out with a riot, are they copying cat??? Lol

The Japanese are smart and very proud people, we will have to see what they release today. As a business owner myself, I can see where they might be “just fine” with that.

Big question from a huge money maker like Yamaha corp as a whole, will they spend a boat load of money with all new sleds to only sell a small amount to make all the restless natives happy?
Don't forget, 4 strokes are lasting for many miles/years so the "buy a new 2 stroke every few years to avoid engine failures" of the other brands does not happen to Yamaha's!

I’d like to see an all Yamaha sled as long as it has good suspension like cats.
Maybe a few different engine options. 1 two stroke engine, (which may never happen again) and a few 4 stroke engine options.
To be honest, I’m not sure sleds will get much better in the way of suspensions, ergonomics, styles etc. What would the next level of snowmobiles look like? And how much money would be spent on the next level? Do we really need it?
